ROOST Rainey at Paseo is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead strategic revenue generation efforts for our luxury apartment-style hotel in the heart of Austin’s Rainey Street District. This is an opportunity for a polished hospitality sales professional with true luxury hotel experience to drive top-line performance while representing a design-forward, service-driven brand known for extended stays, thoughtful amenities, and elevated guest experiences. Position Overview:  The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive group, corporate, and extended-stay business. This individual will play a key leadership role in positioning ROOST Rainey at Paseo within the Austin luxury hospitality market. The ideal candidate brings an established network, refined presentation skills, and a strong understanding of the luxury guest profile.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a luxury hotel environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of the Austin market preferred
  • Experience with corporate negotiated accounts, group sales, and extended-stay strategy
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized, strategic, and results-oriented
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and hotel sales platforms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Proactively solicit corporate, group, entertainment, relocation, and long-stay business
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key accounts and local partners
  • Conduct property tours and represent ROOST at networking and industry events
  • Negotiate contracts and manage RFP responses
  • Collaborate closely with revenue management and operations to ensure seamless execution 
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM management
  • Monitor competitive set and market trends within the Austin luxury segment
