Requirements

  • 12–15 years of outside sales experience, with at least 4+ years in a direct people management role.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams in a competitive, quota-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise customer landscapes and industry trends within data management or related technology solutions.
  • Solid technical and solution-selling knowledge, with the ability to position complex offerings effectively.
  • Experience creating and executing structured training and development plans for sales organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of field sales account executives responsible for driving new business and expanding existing accounts within the data management portfolio.
  • Provide clear direction, performance management, and professional development to ensure consistent quota attainment and skill growth across the team.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning to maintain a diverse, high-performing sales organization.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with territory, product, and market objectives.
  • Foster strong executive-level customer relationships, supporting complex deal negotiations and strategic account growth initiatives.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing business process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, and customer support teams to resolve escalations and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
