Together, we can help patients get the right drugs at the right times. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Data Management to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Data Scientist at ICON Plc, you will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. You will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives by developing sophisticated models, performing in-depth analyses, and guiding strategic decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• Domain expertise in one or more targeted areas of the Revenue Cycle Management processes
• Proficient in deterministic and probabilistic linkage concepts/methodologies to support patient journeys derived from anonymized RCM data
• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or mathematics.
• Extensive experience in data science, with a strong track record of developing and implementing complex models and analyses.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools, with expertise in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
• Located in or around Blue Bell, PA or Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing advanced data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and drive strategic insights.
• Conducting in-depth analyses of large and diverse data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations that inform decision-making.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
• Developing and deploying machine learning models and statistical techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and optimize business processes.
• Providing thought leadership on data science best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
