As a Senior Data Center Management, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and managing all operational aspects of data center and technical space services, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability in both onsite and virtual environments. An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts. Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction. Expertise in AT&T Network Technologies, addressing moderately scoped problems with some guidance, and learning established procedures for multiple data center environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Installation and Maintenance: Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the installation, rearrangement, and de-installation of data center hardware and infrastructure, covering hardware, software maintenance, and technical space facilities.
  • Problem Resolution and Restoral Leadership: Lead problem resolution, monitor performance, and develop recommendations to prevent future issues, with specific roles in restoral leadership for multi-element problems.
  • Architectural Solutions and Resource Management: Determine architectural solutions, ensure resource availability, capacity planning, resource allocation, and data management, with a focus on design, develop, document, and analyze system architecture.
  • 24x7 Support and Incident Management: Continuous support and responsiveness to problem situations, including disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and participation in incident reports and emergency planning. This role requires availability for on-call duties.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including change management, business clients, application support, and technical subject matter experts, while also managing team leadership and vendor relations.
