About The Position

Avalara are expanding a high-performing team of e-invoicing sales experts to meet the accelerating global demand for real-time tax compliance. As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in driving Avalara's growth by helping multinational businesses navigate the evolving landscape of e-invoicing and live reporting mandates. Leveraging your SaaS sales expertise and advanced e-invoicing knowledge, you'll identify, cultivate, and close strategic business opportunities globally with potential clients while building and maintaining strong partner relationships. Requirements

  • 7+ years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas.
  • You will have a strong background in e-invoicing software sales.
  • You will have a strong background in SaaS sales.
  • You will have strong knowledge of the e-invoicing market including the already introduced and upcoming mandates.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
  • Experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a focus on new or existing business.

Responsibilities

  • E-Invoicing Market Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes, providing subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues.
  • New Business Development: Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the optimal choice for tax compliance.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector, leveraging Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators.
  • Solution Selling: Understand the complex needs of clients and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally.
