The Senior Residential Director provides leadership and oversight for Amego’s Adult Residential Programs. This role ensures that all programs deliver the highest quality of care, meet regulatory and organizational standards, and embody Amego’s core principles of dignity, empowerment, and community integration. The SRD is responsible for the strategic and operational management of multiple programs, including staff supervision, compliance, budgeting, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • BCBA certification (active or in progress) required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time Human Services experience, including supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of DDS regulations, Positive Behavior Supports, and community-based care models.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and implement quality assurance practices.
  • Certifications required: CPR/First Aid, Behavior Restraint, and MAP (Medication Administration Program).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support multiple residential and community-based programs to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, individualized services.
  • Foster a culture that promotes individual rights, independence, and community membership.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to Program Directors, Coordinators, Nursing, and Direct Support Staff.
  • Maintain an organizational structure that supports efficiency, accountability, and clear communication across programs.
  • Conduct regular program evaluations, satisfaction assessments, and quality audits to measure progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee implementation of Individualized Behavior Support Plans and adherence to Positive Behavior Supports.
  • Manage annual budgets for assigned programs, monitor and control expenditures.
  • Champion continuous staff training and professional development across all levels.
  • Ensure that all staff are valued, supported, and empowered to provide the highest standard of care.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with families, guardians, state agencies, and funding sources.
  • Represent Amego in community and professional settings to promote awareness and expand program visibility.
  • Ensure all residential homes maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Oversee compliance with all health and safety programs and ensure staff are properly trained.
  • Maintain oversight of individuals’ healthcare and financial resources, including benefits and subsidies.
