About The Position

SENIOR RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE , Biology-Case Lab , to join a growing research team studying cell signaling using quantitative experimental approaches from biochemistry, molecular biophysics, and cell biology to study transmembrane signaling pathways and how they are misregulated in diseases like cancer. The work will involve molecular cloning, protein expression, protein purification, and mammalian tissue culture. Will assist with day-to-day operational tasks including inventory management, general lab management, safety compliance, and reagent maintenance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of bench experience in a research lab, this may include experience gained as an undergraduate
  • strong organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • excellent time management and verbal and written communication skills

  • ability to work with colleagues to achieve project goals
  • practiced documentation skills
