The Senior Research Associate will support antibody discovery programs through high-throughput molecular recombination of single B-cells specific for target analytes. This role is hands-on and laboratory-focused, involving molecular biology workflows from mRNA extraction through recombinant antibody expression in mammalian cell systems. The individual will work as part of a cross-functional research team to generate high-quality recombinant antibodies for downstream screening and characterization. This position reports to the high-throughput recombination scientist and is part of the Antibody Discovery Team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform high-throughput molecular workflows including mRNA extraction from single B-cells, cDNA synthesis, and PCR amplification of antibody hypervariable regions Subclone amplified hypervariable regions into antibody expression plasmids and support recombinant antibody expression in mammalian cell lines Document experimental procedures, analyze results, and contribute to process optimization and data reporting
