About The Position

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Analyst 3 position (Senior Researcher). The GRC engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting. This position functions as a member of Instrumental Data, a division of GRC’s research section that specializes in health quality measure design and production, health-related administrative data analytics, and linkage methodology. This role requires a balance of advanced technical execution and project leadership. The Senior Researcher typically manages significant responsibilities across 3-5 concurrent projects, working independently on tasks of moderate to high complexity. Beyond technical work, the Senior Researcher is expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills to facilitate consensus building, serve as a technical mentor for less experienced colleagues, and effectively translate complex technical information for non-technical project sponsors. The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center’s mission is to identify, research, and spread innovative practices to improve access to quality healthcare for all Ohioans through partnerships with healthcare, state, and academic leaders. The GRC’s current work encompasses critical issues in public health and health services, including maternal and infant mortality, behavioral health, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and health system payment innovation. See more about GRC’s project work here: https://grc.osu.edu/Projects The GRC is a family-friendly workplace that supports in-person and hybrid-remote work arrangements.
