About The Position

Infotainment.com is a small business but growing fast! We specialize in factory automobile radio & accessory upgrades for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, Ford, GM, and Toyota. Candidate must be an automotive enthusiast, quick learner, team player, express a positive attitude, pay attention to detail and have an excellent work ethic to be considered. Sr Technicians perform analysis and repairs on Automotive Infotainment systems. Support lower-level technicians by troubleshooting issues on repairs.

Requirements

Associate of Science (A.S.) degree or equivalent trade school in Electronic Technology or related Field is required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics or related Science field is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in the Maintenance and repair of a variety of electronic and scientific equipment is required.
Thorough understanding of electronics principles
Ability to Perform mechanical, electrical, and/or component-level troubleshooting
Knowledge of electronics equipment, Microscope, including DVM, oscilloscope, and bench power supply
Proficient with reading schematics and printed circuit board layout
Has extensive experience with PCBs/mechanical assemblies.
Strong experience with soldering and rework of fine pitch surface mount and through hole components, including BGA chips.
Understands and follows best ESD practices when handling and working with circuit boards.
