About The Position

Bethel University has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Operations Assistant working in the Registrar's Office. The successful individual will assist with operational activity associated with the collection, maintenance and dissemination of registrar records for students. Providing clerical and data entry support and customer service to internal and external customers will be an important part of the job. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to : Providing clerical support including answering incoming phone calls, producing reports, assisting with walk-in traffic and providing customer service and supporting the Registrar's office functions Evaluating transfer credit and solving registration issues Verifying athletic eligibility Managing roster verification and degree verification both internally and with outside agencies such as SEVIS and the National Student Clearinghouse Assisting with student registration and graduation Processing Advanced Placement, College Level Examination Placement, and International Baccalaureate scores Reviewing and entering enrollment application data Processing change of registration requests, re-admissions, graduation applications and enrollment verifications Maintaining/processing files Assist with room reservations, ordering supplies, coordinating advisors, and academic schedule updates Help generate letters of good standing to other colleges and universities About Bethel University The mission of Bethel University, affiliated with the Missionary Church denomination, is to be a community of learners building lives of commitment for leadership in the Church and world. Requirements

  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Two year's experience in records management and customer service is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education is desired.
  • Technology skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and administrative software is preferred.

Responsibilities
