Job Overview The Temporary Senior Recruiter supports the recruitment of salaried positions across the organization for a 3-6 month assignment. In this role, they are responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various professional roles. They collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a strong ability to identify top talent, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes for professional roles
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic Thinking: Creative and strategic thinker for developing effective recruiting strategies
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Oracle ATS, and MS Office
  • Professionalism and Brand Representation: Ability to professionally represent Macy’s and establish the brand as a top contact for talent
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Strong collaboration skills with hiring managers and HRBPs to meet recruitment needs
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel.
  • Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms
  • Requires close vision
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, researching, and recruiting talent up to the time of offer.
  • Strategize with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract top external talent.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Represent Macy’s professionally in the marketplace and establish the brand as the go-to contact for external talent interested in learning about Macy’s planning opportunities.
  • Maximize the use of recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed and the Oracle Applicant Tracking System.
  • Find additional networking opportunities to attract top talent, including talent communities, and alternative job boards.
  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong working relationships with HRBPs to understand business unit recruitment needs and create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process.

  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
