The Contract Recruiter (Temp) will be primarily responsible for supporting the Bank’s internal business groups as well as supporting general bank wide operational positions. The selected individual will work with Fremont Bank’s in-house recruiters to support the business groups and should be extremely well-versed in business, community banking, central operations, compliance, and IT operations to identify and attract key talent to Fremont Bank. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, fluid work environment with internal clients (aka Business Partners, or Hiring Manager’s) while staying calm, cool, and collected in what may be a demanding or challenging work environment at times. This is a skilled, mid-to-senior level contract recruiter position where knowledge and expertise engaging with senior management and executive management will be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years recruiting experience; experience recruiting in banking or financial industry preferred.
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through and must have collaborative team spirit.
  • Organized and extremely savvy in direct communication with leaders and hiring managers to provide timely recruiting updates required.
  • Expertise in attracting, selling, and negotiating the opportunity to work at Fremont Bank
  • A proven track record of effective sourcing strategies and partnering with all levels of management and working in a high-volume fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and working with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Applicant Tracking Systems; Cornerstone OnDemand is preferred.
  • Financial Services experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of California HR principles and employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR, Cornerstone) and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment which encompasses sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates for all open positions pertaining to Retail Branch Banking, Private Banking, Lending, HR, Legal, Audit, Information Technology, and other Business Divisions of the Bank.
  • Partners with business leaders to develop target candidate profiles, sourcing strategies and assessment plans specific to a given requisition/position.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to the continued flow of candidates through the recruiting pipeline.
  • Develop offer recommendations and extend offers to candidates.
  • Consistently updates applicant tracking system in a timely manner with appropriate candidate and/or position information.
  • Ensures proper onboarding of new associates.
  • Occasional travel to other operations facilities needed (i.e., Fremont or Livermore Operations.)
