About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Senior Radar System Analyst in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking a senior level radar system analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- 12+ years experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs.
- Proficiency on Linux OS
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
- Experience with data extraction, reduction, and analysis techniques for Ground Test and Flight Test data
- Experience with radar performance metrics
- Strong deductive reasoning and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in performing root-cause analysis and ability to clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts and leading analysis teams
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
- General knowledge of radar systems
- Experience with H5 file format
