About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Jr. Radar System Analyst in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking a junior level radar system analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- 1+ years' experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs
- Experience with Linux OS
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
- Strong deductive reasoning skills
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with scientific data formats such as H5
- Familiarity with data reduction techniques
- Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
