About The Position

A growing electronic manufacturing service company in Silicon Valley seeking a Senior Quoter to join our organizations fast paced, hands-on and on site team. Core responsibility will include quoting PCBA assemblies working closely with sales, purchasing and engineering. This role will report to the Senior Pricing Manager and will have routine interactions with senior leaders.

3-5 years quoting within the PCBA supply chain
Strong analytic and quantitative skills using Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing information both within and outside the organization

Nice To Haves

Technical or manufacturing floor experience a plus
Experience with CalcuQuote or similar SAAS applications

Responsibilities

Learn the basics of printed circuit board assembly production process being quoted
Learn existing quoting processes, tools and software
Develop positive working relationships existing quoting team and associated team members from other departments
Demonstrate the ability to quote low complexity assemblies independently and accurately within expected turn times
Establish themselves as trusted team member within the company
Bring forth ideas for quoting process improvements
Demonstrate the ability to quote moderate complexity assemblies independently and accurately within expected turn times
