About The Position

Senior Quality Production Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Production Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL! Position Responsibilities: Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements. Oversee the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes. Guides to the review of production plans. Apply advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance. Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field. Establish process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives. Oversee the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion. Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes. Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance have been eliminated. Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity. Creates formal analytical reports and coordinate with the parties responsible for internal/external distribution. Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower-level technicians. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
3+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or higher
6+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
Experience with NASA and/or Space Launch Systems (SLS) avionics systems
