Role Overview As a Senior Pursuit Lead , you will play a pivotal role in advancing West Monroe’s AI Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy. You will identify and shape AI-driven opportunities, lead cross-functional pursuit teams, and partner with industry and technical experts to close complex deals. Serving as the commercial lead, you will craft compelling value propositions, build trusted client relationships, and guide organizations in leveraging Clonal AI to drive meaningful business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or client-facing roles, ideally with exposure to AI/ML or emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to craft compelling, differentiated value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their business applications.
  • Industry expertise in one or more verticals such as Software, Insurance, Banking, or Healthcare.
  • Hybrid role based in one of our eight U.S. offices, with flexibility and willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Development Identify and qualify AI/ML opportunities across targeted industries.
  • Partner with industry leaders, solution architects, and technical teams to design tailored AI solutions that address client needs.
  • Client Engagement Act as the primary commercial lead for AI pursuits, clearly articulating the value of West Monroe and Clonal AI.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate executive-level conversations that translate AI capabilities into business impact.
  • Pursuit & Team Leadership Lead cross-functional pursuit teams, including architects, industry experts, and technical specialists.
  • Drive the full pursuit lifecycle—from qualification and solution development to proposal and deal closure.
  • Align internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive, high-quality client experiences.
  • AI & Market Expertise Develop a strong working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical applications.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client expectations and strategic objectives.
