In this role, the challenges are varied and the pace is fast. You'll need to work independently and be a problem solver as you you'll be working with a wide range of credentialing providers as well as assisting in provider relations, medical billing and quality management. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
- 2+ years of claims/data entry experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel
- Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics
Nice To Haves
- Undergraduate degree
- Previous experience in a mediacl office environment
- Proficiency in MS Access and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Help manage provider data and maintain and improve databases
- Reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses
- Help develop/maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance
- Coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users
- Manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements
- Assist in audits and data quality improvement initiatives
