About The Position

Responsible for the management of the Property Management staff as well as to oversee a significant portfolio or property and to serve as a point person on third-party relationships. This role involves directing, coordinating, and exercising functional responsibility for property management business, providing overall property management leadership through the development and interpretation of policies and programs, coordination of information flow, and property management strategy. The Senior Property Manager will also provide direction and leadership to Property Management staff, promoting reasonable career paths associated with property management professionals. Key responsibilities include tracking budget variances, ensuring a smooth recovery process, overseeing the billing process (including payment of invoices and disbursement of funds), monitoring cash flow and cash requirements, overseeing the preparation of reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners, supporting prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements, maintaining interface with third-party owners to ensure contract compliance and accurate reporting, resolving tenant relations issues, performing regular property inspections with staff, overseeing construction projects with the Construction Manager, and ensuring compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of real estate property management or related experience
  • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
  • Possess real estate license
  • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
  • Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors
  • Previous experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial lease and/or contract language
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives
