About The Position

The GE Vernova Properties & Facilities organization provides strategic global footprint solutions for the business. This is delivered through strategic real estate solutions, optimized facility management services, and regulatory compliance. The GE Vernova Properties & Facilities organization translates the needs and requirements of the business into total properties solutions. This role will be responsible for supporting the business as needed to meet their respective goals and objectives while maintaining safety as a top priority. The Sr Properties Leader - Project Management role would be required to exhibit strong project management skills and would be responsible for stakeholder interface in the delivery of the GE Vernova business rooftop strategies, projects, and services. The candidate would be required to focus on the business with the long-term objective of ensuring that all footprint solutions are reviewed throughout the entire GE Vernova portfolio. The candidate will work with rooftop teams and supporting functions across a matrixed organization for strategic, project and program recommendations and execution. The Sr Properties Leader - Project Management role will be instrumental in optimization of facilities costs and transformational properties projects. This position will require a motivated and technically educated individual with strong people skills to embrace the business needs of GE Vernova globally and throughout all functions within the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing medium to large projects and programs.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Experience in major infrastructure and construction projects globally
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with sourcing and cost optimization activities.

  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and is accountable for operational excellence of identified rooftop projects and synergies across GE Vernova, including project reviews, cost benefit analysis, feasibility studies, and project execution and tracking.
  • Proactively identify and lead efforts to add value to the business through property focused strategies and initiatives.
  • Aligns with GE Vernova business support teams and ensures execution of recommended strategies and projects across the business.
  • Support GE Vernova business commitments while aligning and executing on the roof top strategies within the business.
  • Exemplify an organizational culture shift from tactical rooftop execution to strategic thinking, long term planning and execution.
  • Exhibited rooftop workplace solutions, both office and industrial, portfolio optimization, and expanding and optimizing GE Vernova’s Integrated Facility Management program.
  • Drive effective working relationships with relevant business and functional stakeholders to seamlessly integrate solutions within the overall strategic objectives of the business.
