As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead high‑impact, enterprise‑wide initiatives that help move Whataburger forward—boldly and together. Requirements

8+ years of project management experience managing complex initiatives
Proven success leading cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments
Advanced knowledge of project and change management methodologies
Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive communication
Experience managing budgets, timelines, forecasting, and risk
Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Experience mentoring or coaching project managers or team members
High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accountability
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Experience leading enterprise or business‑transformation initiatives
Background supporting operations‑driven or consumer‑facing organizations
Experience working across corporate, field, and external partners
Familiarity with project tracking, reporting, and portfolio tools
Restaurant, retail, or multi‑unit business experience

Responsibilities

Lead multiple, complex projects from initiation through delivery
Translate enterprise objectives into clear, actionable project plans
Direct cross‑functional teams with clear roles, accountability, and outcomes
Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies
Anticipate and mitigate risks; resolve issues to maintain momentum
Apply project and change management methodologies to ensure governance
Monitor and report project performance to stakeholders and leaders
Ensure high‑quality deliverables, documentation, and lifecycle reporting
Coach and mentor project managers and project teams
Drive continuous improvement in project execution and best practices

Base compensation range: $100,000 to $115,000
