ABOUT THIS POSITION Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent, and complex information systems projects and programs, adhering to established methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns to senior management when necessary. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership. Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, changes, and outcomes. Oversee the procurement and management of external vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards. Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices. Contribute to the development and refinement of Waystar's project and program management methodologies, tools, and templates. Ensure compliance with Waystar's internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for information systems projects.
