Edged has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager, Platform Delivery, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this position, you will work directly with the Director of Construction and be responsible for managing the technical, cost-efficient, and fast-paced execution of Edged’s Atlanta-area data center construction programs, including new builds and ongoing platform expansion projects. Atlanta represents a critical strategic hub within Edged’s North American footprint, with multiple hyperscale and colocation data center developments underway and planned. This role will play a key leadership function in delivering these projects successfully while ensuring alignment with Edged’s standards for quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. This position requires demonstrated experience in program management of complex construction projects and project controls, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The Senior Construction Project Manager, Platform Delivery must be agile, professional, and comfortable operating in a rapidly scaling and evolving environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7)+ years of experience managing complex construction projects valued at $250M+, preferably in mission-critical or digital infrastructure environments.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience across electrical, mechanical, controls, security, fire/life safety, networking/fiber, utilities, preconstruction, execution, and project closeout.
  • Demonstrated success managing project cost, schedule, and program performance on large-scale developments.
  • Direct experience supporting design or construction of large-scale data center facilities (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise environments).
  • Strong vendor, contractor, and subcontractor negotiation and management experience.
  • Experience delivering fast-track design-build projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
  • Expert-level experience with Primavera P6 scheduling and advanced schedule analysis techniques.
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar project management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management and oversight of construction-related activities for Atlanta-based data center new builds and platform expansion projects, including ownership of scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Drive cost optimization and schedule acceleration while maintaining quality and operational integrity.
  • Review constructability of electrical, mechanical, and building systems associated with new Atlanta data center developments and platform optimization initiatives.
  • Create program scopes, define equipment requirements, support RFP development, assist in General Contractor selection, and support capital approval processes.
  • Ensure overall program quality, including participation in commissioning, integrated systems testing, and readiness validation.
  • Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction and coordinate with engineering teams and construction partners.
  • Record, track, and report key program metrics to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs across Edged’s Atlanta platform, including ground-up construction and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and support continuous improvement across scheduling, cost management, risk mitigation, and change management functions.
  • Coordinate with Regional Senior Program Managers to ensure Atlanta project cash flow aligns with budget and baseline expectations.
  • Support preparation and analysis of owner change orders and assess schedule and cost impacts.
  • Coordinate monthly billing processes and financial tracking.
  • Develop, manage, and analyze complex cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Perform schedule risk analysis, including Monte Carlo analysis, time impact analysis, critical path analysis, and resource leveling.
  • Ensure Autodesk Construction Cloud and related project data platforms remain current for Atlanta programs.
  • Produce periodic program performance reports for leadership review.
  • Support capital forecasting and ensure alignment with platform delivery objectives.
  • Serve as a leader within the Platform Delivery team and across internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, contractors, commissioning agents, vendors, and operations teams supporting Atlanta facilities.
  • Travel to Atlanta-area project sites and other Edged facilities as required to support constructability reviews, startup testing, commissioning, and project execution.
