About The Position

Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager & Analyst is a results-driven member of the department's senior leadership team responsible for executing strategic initiatives across the organization. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to implement, monitor, and optimize initiatives that drive growth, operational efficiency, workforce effectiveness, and overall performance. Serving as a key advisor and thought partner, the Senior Project Manager & Analyst translates complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making, workforce planning, and operational improvement. The role combines advanced analytical expertise, systems knowledge, and project leadership to ensure data integrity, support enterprise initiatives, and maintain alignment with organizational priorities. Primary duties and responsibilities: Strategic Project Leadership 1.Lead end-to-end management of high-impact strategic initiatives initiated by Operating Units and system leadership. 2.Develop comprehensive project charters and plans, defining scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, risks, and resource requirements. 3.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution across departments. 4.Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks that may impact scope, budget, timeline, or outcomes. 5.Monitor performance through defined KPIs; provide regular executive-level reporting on progress, outcomes, and value realization. 6.Prepare and present materials for Steering Committees, executive leadership, and key stakeholder groups. 7.Conduct post-implementation evaluations to assess outcomes, ROI, and lessons learned; recommend continuous improvement strategies. 8.Advance project management best practices, standardization, and process optimization across the system. Analytics Strategy & Business Partnership 1.Partner with executive and operational leaders to define workforce KPIs and analytics priorities aligned with enterprise strategy. 2.Translate complex workforce and operational data into actionable insights that inform decision-making and resource planning. 3.Design and maintain scalable dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports that support strategic oversight. 4.Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership in clear, executive-ready formats. System & Data Integration 1.Extract, synthesize, and analyze data from enterprise platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, iCIMS, Vizient, ACEMAPP, UKG) to support workforce and operational analytics. 2.Ensure consistency, accuracy, and standardization of reporting across talent acquisition, human resources, finance, and learning domains. 3.Partner with IT, HR, Finance, and TA teams to support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives. Data Governance & Integrity 1.Establish and maintain data governance standards, including validation processes, audit controls, documentation, and secure data access practices. 2.Maintain and enhance enterprise data definitions, reporting catalogs, and analytic process documentation. 3.Ensure compliance with internal policy requirements and external reporting standards. Organizational Change & Cross-Functional Collaboration 1.Lead analytics workstreams for enterprise initiatives (e.g., restructuring, expansion, M&A), ensuring data alignment and integration. 2.Collaborate across HR, TA, Finance, IT, and operational leadership to align analytics strategy with organizational priorities. 3.Support change management efforts, promoting data literacy and adoption of analytics tools across leadership teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, I/O Psychology, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or related field experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience leading enterprise-level strategic initiatives and/or advanced analytics programs from concept through implementation and sustainment.
  • Demonstrated experience translating data into executive-level insights and driving measurable organizational impact.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex project and analytical findings to executive and operational leaders.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Experience extracting, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., clinical data warehouse, eCQMs, HRIS, TA systems, manual abstraction).
  • Ability to apply data mining and statistical techniques to support workforce planning, operational improvement, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced data visualization capabilities, including dashboard development and executive reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Visual Insight, or advanced Excel (pivot tables, slicers, macros, analytic modeling tools).
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data validation, and reporting integrity standards.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in analytics, data science, mathematics, public health, or business.
  • Five (5) or more years of formal leadership or management experience, including oversight of teams, enterprise initiatives, or complex cross-functional programs.
  • PMP, Lean/Six Sigma/data science
  • Preferred experience with a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, etc.) and be able to demonstrate real-world application of these techniques.
  • Prior training/experience with use of the Epic electronic medical record and associated data analytics and dashboard tools is desirable.
