Overall responsibility of the Project rests with the Manager of Projects/Senior Project Manager/Project Manager who have the authority to act and commit on the behalf of Proserv Management, being the main point of contact with Client. However, the Senior Project Coordinator, may on occasion and where deemed sufficiently experienced and capable, take on these responsibilities for small and uncomplex projects. Note – in such situations the Project Manager job description is relevant. The Senior Project Coordinator is a key member of the project team, supporting the Project Management by taking responsibility for coordinating and expediting engineering, procurement and construction scopes and activities to meet the project schedule and expectation of our clients. They will work closely with the Project Engineer and Planner (if assigned to the project) to align all activities to ensure the project schedule, goals and KPIs are achieved. Support, training and mentoring of Project Coordinators may also be a requirement to allow knowledge transfer to a less experienced person.
