You will provide analytical, coordination, and administrative support to ensure accurate cost tracking, contract compliance, portfolio oversight, cross‑functional communication within a matrixed organization. You will contribute in supporting major capital projects by assisting with cost controls, spend analysis, vendor and contract review, portfolio tracking, and internal/external coordination.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or a related role supporting complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience supporting project management and cost controls functions
  • Utilities, energy, infrastructure, or related industry experience
  • Proficiency in SAP, including financials, cost reporting, and general ledger analysis
  • Background in project coordination, administrative support, and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Experience with contract review, cost analysis, spend tracking, and vendor management

Responsibilities

  • Extract, analyze, and reconcile cost, spend, and forecast data from SAP, supporting financial accuracy and reporting
  • Help with cost controls activities, including variance analysis, budget tracking, and spend validation
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, and amendments to ensure agreement on project requirements and approved budgets
  • Monitor vendor compliance, contract limits, and financial exposure to mitigate risk
  • Support project portfolio tracking, phase‑gate reporting, and capital project lifecycle documentation
  • Maintain accurate project records, financial logs, and reporting artifacts
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between Project Management, Cost Controls, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors
  • Support internal and external meetings, status updates, and documentation deliverables
  • Partner with the Cost Controls Project Manager and Project Manager to support project execution and financial governance
