Requirements

  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive experience and knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for own responsibilities.
  • Provides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.
  • Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.
  • Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.
  • Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.
  • Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.
  • Problem Solving: Extensive experience and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience managing projects in the data center industry, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with the Caterpillar Dealer Network, including building relationships and driving collaboration across dealer teams.

Responsibilities

  • Track progress against program schedules and goals and develop solutions to program challenges.
  • Oversee project processes and procedures while monitoring the productivity and performance of the project team.
  • Prepare and present program-level reports to upper management.
  • Design, establish, and monitor the organization's project management goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members using a disciplined project management approach and coach them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.
