About The Position

BAE Systems Identification Systems (IDS) seeks a well-organized, dependable, and industrious Sr Project Analyst to join its integrated team in support of cost, performance, and schedule management of Department of Defense (DoD) Alteration and Installation (AIT) projects. The successful candidate will provide project management support in a cross-functional environment. You will have the ability to collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally, present findings, and utilize the power of data to participate as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), think creatively, and utilize problem-solving skills while also adhering to the company’s vision and mission. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or business-related discipline and at least 4 years of project or program analyst experience
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting Department of Navy (DoN) contracts or projects
  • Experience with resourcing and scheduling fundamentals
  • Detail-oriented and analytical capabilities
  • Experience with creating financial projections including estimates at completion and estimates to completion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and SharePoint/SharePoint Online
  • Scheduling and financial acumen with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate and escalate issues as needed

Responsibilities

  • Analyze program requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs).
  • Manage subcontractor performance in relation to awarded funding amounts and schedules.
  • Plan and execute meetings, including distribution of agendas, compilation of meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Support resource management activities in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data and financial information relating to U.S. Navy fleet installation, modernization, and ship alterations.
  • Partner with various departments to process purchase orders, review subcontract pricing considerations, updates SOWs, and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Apply policies and procedures for financial planning.
  • Create documentation and reporting for contract funds determinations and project closeouts.
  • Support configuration management and risk management.
  • Monitor and control project performance in relation to plan and forecasting.
  • Ability to complete high quality product work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong focus on details.
  • Provides support with a variety of management activities, AIT initiatives, special projects, and data calls to support organizational goals of combat integration and identification systems.
