About The Position

The Senior Project Finance Analyst at Power Design works at our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, and plays an integral role in our budgeting, forecasting, and risk management process. By providing reporting and analytics to department managers and executive management, the Project Finance Analyst I can assist with the decision-making process. This is not a traditional analyst role; it is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing others, and identifying financial and operational risks in large-scale construction project budgets. Position Responsibilities Obtain, analyze, and enter monthly budget updates from Project Managers (Operations) as well as follow up on any previous open items or new areas of concern Oversee and support Operations in the baseline budgeting process; lead various budget meetings Analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets, commitments, expenditures, estimates to complete, billing trends, and change orders Actively participate in all project meetings, providing financial insight, and risk analysis to Operations Understand business components and implications specific to accounting for Construction Companies Ensure compliance with external contract terms as well as internal company policies and procedures Run analytics and create ad hoc reports for projects and divisions to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions Evaluate results and variances, identifying trends and potential for improvement while reconciling issues and/or discrepancies by comparing and correcting data Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings and analyses Increase productivity by improving processes, eliminating duplicate efforts, and communicating changes effectively Close out project financials and accounts upon project completion Support managers in data analysis and risk reviews Other duties as needed. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related discipline
• 5-7 years of related work experience as an analyst in a financial capacity
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle/Hyperion is a plus
• A problem solver with strong critical thinking skills who can work well independently
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Enjoys working collaboratively with others and building relationships
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
