About The Position

Saab, Inc. is seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Senior Program Manager to support the Training and Simulation Business Area in Orlando, FL. As the Senior Program Manager, you will have a demonstrable track record of delivering highly complex, multi-year programs within the Department of War environment. You will be joining a dynamic team supporting United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army training, with a focus on the Live Training Domain. Responsibilities include: Direct and influence teams to ensure program and project success and drive results. Lead the development of costs and the submission of contract change proposals as assigned. Lead material cost management and forecasting, including submission of material requests to purchasing as necessary, payment and reconciliation of vendor and subcontractor invoices, assistance with program schedule development and maintenance, and assistance with collecting and reporting project status items. Lead the preparation of delivery requests for documentation and software deliveries to both customers and internal teams as necessary. Lead program management reviews (PMRs) and integrated product teams (IPTs). Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments through the management of program budgets and schedules. Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules. Coordinate across functional areas (Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to support program tasks. Lead and/or support business development efforts with bid activities, including cost estimation and proposal management on competitive proposals. Travel 5%-10% annually, both domestically and internationally. Compensation Range: $132,000 - $171,600 #CJ The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business administration or a related field with 10+ years of experience, or MA/MS degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Close attention to detail with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing large development or production programs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), and/or administrative functions.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
