About The Position

This is a Senior Program Coordinator position within Biomedical Graduate Education at Georgetown University Medical Center. The role involves supporting the academic, instructional, student life, admissions, and all administrative aspects of the MS in Biotechnology graduate program. The Senior Program Coordinator provides support to both the Program Director and Associate Program Director and is responsible for coordinating approximately over 60 graduate students. Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and admissions, monitoring the academic progress of all graduate students, overseeing merit-based aid, coordinating alumni and career services outreach, managing program administration (including faculty and program support), contributing to the marketing strategy and website, and organizing special events for the program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree is required
3-7 years of academic administration experience, preferably in the biomedical sciences field
Demonstrated administrative and computer experience and competence
Experience in database management, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Proficiency with web-based meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Project management skills
Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information
