About The Position

Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Summary: The Data Manager III will serve as an analyst and, independently or as part of a team, plans, manages, and/or evaluates large public health program(s), projects, and/or study activities.

Requirements

  • Records management and document control experience in accordance with federal policies.
  • Ability to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination across teams and agencies.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative, data, or program management support.
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative and data-related tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Using working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, develops comprehensive vaccine safety reports containing information which may be presented to others internal and external to CDC.
  • Develop Power Point presentations, reports and tables for project related activities, as needed, and assist with formatting references for scientific and other technical publications.
  • Coordinate project management activities including a variety of tasks related to program development, policy and program analysis, program evaluations, research and project coordination.
  • Provide consultation services to CDC staff by developing and processing Interagency Agreements (IAAs) by coordinating with other CDC contacts and other HHS agencies to ensure appropriate documents and forms are completed and executed within the fiscal yearend deadlines.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support, by scheduling team and/or various workgroup calls.
  • Participate in project meetings and other vaccine safety activities.
  • Utilizes Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) to enter and submit acquisition and procurement requests for ISO/DHQP projects and activities.
  • Track activities and deliverables for vaccine safety contracts and serves as back up to Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with reviewing invoices and entering into ICE.
  • Develops and maintains ISO travel projection report and provides bi-weekly update to ISO leadership.
  • Provide consultation services to CDC staff for ISO special projects.
  • Process international travel requests utilizing CGE and other CDC or HHS automated systems on an as needed basis.
