As a Senior Production Specialist in the Water Manufacturing organization, you will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple processes and gain new skills that can help you advance in any career. You will operate under 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO standards. You will be making a difference daily by supporting production of innovative products that keep people and animals healthy. Shift Information - Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 3:30pm What you can expect in this role: You will perform a variety of production/manufacturing tasks producing high quality water diagnostic product while maintaining a clean and safe work environment You will fulfill requests for critical materials from the QC, R&D, and Raw Materials Testing groups You will be responsible for orders along with the Manufacturing team as well as handling reconciliation of orders and workflows You will serve as a liaison to internal customers by providing critical supplies to the group You will train new team members on relevant SAP transactions, work order yielding, and other manufacturing tasks. You will support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives You will coordinate work with Facilities and external vendors as needed to support lab and equipment maintenance You will be expected to identify problems and assist in routine problem solving and troubleshooting of equipment You will ensure equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibrations are performed in a timely manner You will complete assignments without supervision, solve problems independently and assume responsibility as appropriate You will work with a small team, on shared or individual tasks. You typically have 4+ years production and/or manufacturing experience

Requirements

  • You have a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; an Associate degree or equivalent is preferred
  • You have experience and skills in WORD, EXCEL, and other various Microsoft applications.
  • You have data gathering and analytical ability
  • You have mechanical ability as well as physical.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and have a successful track record working cross-functionally
  • You have leadership and project organization skills.
  • You have a strong ethical compass for quality and process control decisions and reporting
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You can work both individually and as a team player
  • You are a continuous learner who embraces a growth mindset
  • You typically have 4+ years production and/or manufacturing experience
