Requirements

3-8 years of underwriting experience in management liability or professional liability insurance.
Established network of brokers, carriers, and underwriters.
Expertise in specialty liability products such as rating procedures and policy forms.
Strong ability to build long-term, profitable relationships with brokers.
Confidence in presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
Proven success in achieving sales and account management targets.
Expansive knowledge of management liability and a track record of meeting goals.
Flexibility for occasional travel as needed.
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals, following established procedures.
Price accounts with competitive terms swiftly and thoughtfully.
Manage communication regarding quotes, fostering trust and collaboration.
Collaborate with Risk Engineers to understand complex account exposures.
Provide market feedback and recommend improvements to terms, rates, and guidelines.
Engage continuously with assigned brokers to bind accounts.
Represent the company at broker meetings and industry events.
Contribute ideas and feedback as a key stakeholder in product development.
