In this role, you’ll be focused on Teams Chat and Channels, driving adoption and engagement for core collaboration and communication features while showcasing the transformative power of Microsoft 365 Copilot in Teams. You will lead positioning and go-to-market strategies for innovations like channel agents—virtual teammates embedded in channels—and Teams Mode for Copilot, which brings collaborative AI into group chats for real-time brainstorming, co-creation, and assistance. You’ll also drive engagement with channels in Teams, including the new Threads experience. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll craft compelling narratives, maintain customer and market insights, and partner closely with engineering, sales, and field teams to accelerate customer success. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the value proposition for Teams Chat and Channels, highlighting integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot and agentic capabilities.
  • Create messaging frameworks that resonate with enterprise decision-makers and end-users.
  • Collaborate with business planning on business model, pricing, and packaging decisions for new features.
  • Collaborate with other Teams product marketing managers to develop messaging and positioning that is consistent and ladders up to Teams overarching value prop.
  • Execute marketing strategy through cross-team collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales organizations, driving adoption through partner ecosystem.
  • Drive launch plans for new AI-powered features, including channel agents (intelligent assistants grounded in channel context for summarizing updates, assigning tasks, and answering questions) and Teams Mode (Copilot as a shared participant in group chats).
  • Deeply understand the collaboration platform and AI landscape and inform marketing plans with insights and updated value messaging as more companies continue to innovate.
  • Analyze usage data, customer feedback, and competitor trends to inform strategy.
  • Derive insights on customer habits and preferences from telemetry, market research and analysis to inform go-to-market plans.
  • Develop thought leadership content showcasing how AI transforms collaboration.
  • Develop thought leadership to measure success of agents in Chat and Channels.
  • Work with product management and engineering to influence roadmap priorities and ensure product readiness.
  • Enable field and partner communities with training, demos, and assets.
  • Create compelling, customer-centric content with consistency across all mediums (e.g. webpages, customer pitch decks, blog posts, Frequently Asked Questions, videos, etc.)
