About The Position

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to lead growth marketing for Vanguard’s Wealth Management business. In this role, you’ll develop strategies aimed at attracting ultra-high-net worth (UHNW) investors to Vanguard and influencing perception of Vanguard as a holistic Wealth Manager. Your insights-driven work will help set the messaging and positioning around Vanguard’s offer. The scope of your work will span prospecting new-to-Vanguard clients, as well as cross-selling existing clients in lower segments. As such, you’ll leverage extensive channels and tactics including direct mail, email, content partnerships, display and social, sponsorships, among others. Close collaboration with partners is essential to success and the strategies you’ll build – connecting with business leaders to ensure strategy alignment, sales teams to drive down-funnel conversions, PR and comms to ensure messaging alignment, research partners to develop plans anchored in insights, and channel experts to support your budget allocation decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years related work experience, five or more years of marketing experience.
  • Understanding of the wealth management industry and overall investment markets.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Build awareness and strengthen perceptions of Vanguard as a Wealth Manager: Develop and translate offer positioning and messaging strategies to an upper-funnel marketing approach, leveraging key paid channels.
  • Drive new client growth: Develop and execute strategies aimed at bringing new UHNW clients to Vanguard through paid channels and encouraging asset consolidation into Wealth Management for existing clients.
  • Own forecasting and performance reporting: Build and maintain forecasts for marketing-influenced enrollments and track and explain performance toward goals.
  • Influence through communication: Develop high-impact presentations and executive-ready materials that clearly articulate marketing strategy, performance, and value to senior stakeholders.
  • Foster strategic partnerships: Collaborate with senior business leaders, product marketing peers, PR, channel & distribution partners, among others, to build and deliver strategies.
  • Lead and mentor: Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to cross-functional marketing team members, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
