About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager focused on the MagicSchool Student product, you will own the experiences that empower students to learn, create, and grow with AI in responsible and impactful ways. You’ll lead the development of student-facing features that support engagement, learning outcomes, and trust while aligning with educator and district expectations. This role blends strong product leadership with deep empathy for student users, requiring thoughtful prioritization across usability, safety, and educational impact in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with ownership of consumer or user-facing digital products.
  • Strong ability to partner deeply with engineering and design to translate user needs into intuitive product experiences.
  • Track record of navigating ambiguous problem spaces and delivering high-impact, user-centered solutions.
  • Experience prioritizing and executing in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product decisions.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI-powered features, including prompt engineering and defining evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with K–12 learning environments and education technology

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize student-facing features and experiences that improve learning outcomes, engagement, and long-term adoption of MagicSchool Student.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and research to deliver intuitive, high-quality student experiences that scale across grade levels and learning contexts.
  • Collaborate with Educator, Enterprise, and Trust & Safety stakeholders to ensure student features align with classroom workflows, district requirements, and responsible AI principles.
  • Define and monitor success metrics related to student activation, usage, retention, and learning impact to guide roadmap decisions.
  • Balance innovation with safeguards, ensuring student experiences are age-appropriate, compliant, and aligned with educational best practices.
