About The Position

This Senior Product Manager (SPM) will drive global change to support market initiatives related to Flex and Installments, modernizing credential capability to enable new income streams and faster distribution, and achieving top-of-wallet status for issuers. The role involves unlocking new payment volume aligned to strategic growth imperatives by working closely with various teams including Product Development, Strategy, GTM, Data Technology, Finance, Regions, Rules, and Risk. The SPM will define and deliver accelerated sales use cases and solutions, providing narrative, tooling, and executional streamlining across Visa's five regions, leading key cross-functional initiatives that are top management priorities. The position requires advanced proficiency in AI-enabled tools and agent-based workflows to drive faster, higher-quality outputs and more effective planning and reporting. This global role demands balancing regional and global opportunities, influencing and collaborating across a complex, highly matrixed organization, and providing leadership and clear vision to direct and indirect teams.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 6 + years of experience in product management, technology product development, or a related field.
  • Experience and comfort adapting to work on different types of products (data, B2C, APIs)
  • Experience leading and managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
  • Superior strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical literacy, ability to work closely with engineering and technical teams.
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners.
  • Proactive self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an advanced user of AI‑enabled tools and agent‑based workflows, using them routinely to drive faster, higher‑quality outputs such as agents, tools, designs and artifacts, more effective planning and process, and clearer reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to define and align on product roadmap and strategy.
  • Define and document functional and technical requirements for new products and features
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, UX design, data science, and risk teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant product delivery
  • Champion agile methodologies across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions efficiently.
  • Integrate risk, compliance, and security considerations into product development and lifecycle management.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for monitoring product performance and compliance.
  • Support new product development, go-to-market planning, and global rollout coordination.
  • Develop executive-level communications and materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with regional product teams to ensure global strategies are actionable and locally relevant.
  • Contribute to product planning, strategy cycles, and major internal or client-facing events.
