About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager at PayNearMe, you will lead the evolution of our fraud, risk, and compliance platforms, with a strong focus on data-driven decisioning, and modern adaptive controls. This role is critical to enabling secure, compliant money movement across PayNearMe’s network of consumers, billers, and partners. In this role, you will drive product strategy and execution, evolving our capability to prevent fraud, manage financial and operational risk, and support regulatory compliance at scale — while ensuring PayNearMe continues to deliver trusted, accessible payment experiences. Leveraging deep analysis of user behavior, industry trends, and market signals, you will guide our roadmap and delivery across internal solutions and partner integrations, using clear success metrics, while ensuring the platform remains compliant, and responds dynamically to emerging fraud and regulatory risk. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role, partnering closely with Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Client Success, and Executive Leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and shape the future of our platform.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including strategic or platform-level work.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory dynamics in fintech, payments, and lending.
  • Proven ability to make strategic tradeoffs, and establish clear priorities.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for solving complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Strong analytical skills, asking the right questions to derive key answers. Using metrics to drive and measure success.
  • Ownership, empathy, and resilience.
  • Experience interpreting market data and client insights.
  • Confident storyteller who translates analysis into clear, actionable decisions.
  • Able to align stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance
  • Synthesize client usage, market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback into actionable insights that inform strategy and investment themes
  • Communicate product vision and priorities, across teams and stakeholders.
  • Translate regulatory, risk, and operational requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure products meet banking and regulatory obligations and business requirements
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify emerging fraud trends, evaluate risk exposure, and prioritize product investments
  • Balance risk mitigation with customer experience, minimizing friction while maintaining strong protections
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and advocate for fraud, risk, and compliance considerations across the product organization
  • Deliver scalable, automated, and data-driven solutions to mitigate fraud and financial risk across ACH, cards, cash payments, real-time payments, and partner integrations
  • Act as a thought partner and subject-matter expert on fraud, risk, and compliance across the Product organization
