Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with proven success owning complex problem spaces and leading execution as a senior individual contributor.
  • 4+ years of experience in payments or fintech, ideally on large-scale, high-reliability platforms with global reach.
  • Strong product judgment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed trade-offs, and move forward decisively.
  • Comfort working on mission-critical systems where reliability, trust, and precision are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and designers on technically complex challenges.
  • Strong analytical mindset with practical experience using metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation to guide decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in remote and asynchronous settings.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, open-source ecosystems, or content management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and delivery for a key segment of the payments ecosystem, defining clear priorities, goals, and success metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement across merchant and shopper journeys, including onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, reporting, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, design, support, and partnerships teams to translate ideas into scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Reduce friction and failure rates by identifying root causes, improving workflows, and elevating overall product quality and trust.
  • Leverage data, operational signals, and customer feedback to guide prioritization, decision-making, and performance optimization.
  • Manage partner integrations and dependencies, ensuring smooth delivery, issue resolution, and continuous enhancement.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
