The Sr. Product Manager will lead product strategy and portfolio management for the Clinical Diagnostic Reagents (CDR) business, a portfolio of catalog and OEM/contract manufacturing solutions supporting global IVD partners. This role establishes product management capability for CDR, driving profitable growth through disciplined lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and strong cross-functional leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management. Location: Middletown, VA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Life Sciences or related scientific field preferred.
5+ years of product management or relevant experience.
Strong strategic thinking and product roadmap development skills.
Technical aptitude with the ability to engage credibly with customers and internal teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a matrixed organization.
Customer-focused mindset with a drive to build deep product and market expertise.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the IVD clinical laboratory market preferred.
Exposure to clinical chemistry, immunoassay and/or molecular products preferred.
Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows and B2B partnerships
Experience supporting products in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and embed product management best practices across the CDR business.
Define and execute product strategies aligned to CDR business objectives.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps in partnership with Sales, Operations, and Quality.
Own product lifecycle decisions, including new product introductions, portfolio optimization, and product discontinuation.
Serve as the primary product interface for OEM and B2B customers in collaboration with the Diagnostics Services Account Management team.
Translate customer requirements and commercial opportunities into clear product specifications and business cases.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer activities.
Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing.
Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and trade-offs in a matrixed environment.
Act as a conduit between customer opportunities and internal execution teams.
Own pricing strategy and margin targets across the CDR portfolio.
Support go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, value propositions, and sales enablement.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to support launches, scale-ups, and customer transitions.
Drive product success measured by revenue growth, profitability, adoption, and customer retention.
Develop and present business cases for new opportunities, investments, and portfolio changes.
Support financial outlooks and ensure alignment with Diagnostics Services business goals.
Serve as a product subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop executive-level presentations, technical collateral, and customer-facing materials in conjunction with Marketing.
Enable global sales and marketing teams with product and technical expertise.
