About The Position

We are redefining the Alexa customer experience by creating the next-generation of AI-based technology that will radically change how people interact with devices. As part of that work, we are also transforming our business model and rethinking how we sell Echo devices to millions of customers each year worldwide, which is work led by the Alexa/Echo Device Sales team. We are seeking a customer-obsessed, experienced Senior Product Manager to lead sales and marketing for Echo devices. If you have passion for tech and commercial strategy, come build with us.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience as a product manager or owner

Nice To Haves

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
• Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales strategy for a subset of Echo products
• Work with a cross-functional team including product development, demand planning, in-stock, finance, retailers, merchandising, and advertising to develop and execute a multi-year plan to grow the Echo business.
• Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales strategies to maximize unit sales as well as profit and revenue.
• Identify new market opportunities and creative ways to showcase AI value.
• Establish and execute competitive pricing and promotions on Amazon.com and at offline retailers (i.e., Best Buy, Target).
• Manage inventory to ensure clean product transitions from one generation to the next.
