We’re currently recruiting for an on-site  Senior Analyst, Procurement  to join our Quality team. We seek a highly motivated and organized individual with experience working in a vendor-facing role supporting a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical operation to help evolve our Supply Chain & Procurement organization into an audit-ready, partner-enabling, GxP-compliant function. To play a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree
  • 3+ years served in a Procurement-related role (1+ years if MBA)
  • 2+ years of experience at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
  • Experience with MS Office, ERP/MRP, and QMS systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Very strong influencing capabilities with an ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and across different functions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of spend analysis, sourcing systems, savings reporting, and Supplier Relationship Management

Nice To Haves

  • Procurement qualification and certification a plus (CPM, CPSM)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate site material demand to suppliers and lead material planning to ensure inventory levels meet the demand plan.
  • Assist in the implementation of SAP at the site.
  • Work collaboratively with the MSAT and tech transfer team to develop the bill of materials and lead the enrollment process of any new raw materials identified.
  • Monitor supply markets and work with suppliers to learn of any potential disruptions to supply and communicate to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboratively develop risk monitoring & mitigation plans with Supply Chain, MSAT, QA, and Supplier Quality for critical raw material suppliers.
  • Prepare, distribute and analyze responses to request for proposal (RFP); support supplier evaluation and selection process; Identify sources of supply and services, and develop relationships with suppliers.
  • In coordination with Facilities and Engineering, develops and executes indirect category sourcing strategies, and the identification of cost savings opportunities.
  • In collaboration with internal stakeholders, resolve supplier service issues as needed.
  • Work closely with Legal to ensure contract terms are supported by OXB.
  • Negotiating agreements and ensure compliance to existing contracts as appropriate for direct/indirect materials and service suppliers.
  • Collaborating with QA and Supplier Quality to ensure suppliers meet GxP requirements.
  • Perform supplier negotiations on one-off purchases that are not covered by an existing contract or sourcing strategy.
  • Co-create strong business relationships with Suppliers and internal customer groups and key processes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in Procurement processes, tools, and templates.
