About The Position

In this role, you will manage the process design within the framework of the budget, time schedule, quality and scope, contributing to the overall sales result and customer satisfaction. In this position you will collaborate closely with different areas within Tetra Pak, such as sales, supply management, engineering, technical service, etc., to support achievement of targets of the company and its businesses. This is a leading role to roll out new design and work methods, processes and tools for engineering of commercial projects. This is also a key position for technical capability development within engineering network. You will drive the work to solve advanced technical issues in pre-projects as well as implementation projects. Participate as an expert in design reviews as well as in technical discussions with customer/ end suppliers. This position is based in Panamá city, Panamá. Expected travel time up to 50% to our customer sites. Tetra Pak might sponsor Visa/Relocation for this position, after evaluating local candidates.

Requirements

• University Degree in engineering course
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Minimum 10 years of experience with developed expertise in Projects/Products, process engineering, process design, quotation and/or project implementation, installation needs, customer operations at site, and start-up/commissioning
• Expert knowledge and be part of developing necessary standards, guidelines, tools and methods for Process design
• Excellent understanding of product portfolio and its functionality
• Knowledge equipment safety and food sakety regulatory demands
• Expert and able to transfer expertise of the competency, skill, concepts, tools to others in Process Engineering
• Globally acknowledged as an expert in competence area
• Proven leadership skills
• Knowledge of AutoCad & MS Office

Responsibilities

• Provide and drive technical support /solutions both internal and towards customer with respect to process engineering, excellent process design specification and drawings for complex projects, complex and customized BPU,s, lines and solutions
• Pro-actively lead and communicate with other colleagues and/or drive technical discussions with customers and suppliers
• Communicate innovation
• Manage scope changes and negotiate variation orders
• Lead and provide expert support to customer and colleagues, leading troubleshooting in issue and claim resolution (including root cause analysis), PLC/PC, etc.
• Breakdown and plan the project into phases and fulfill the plan and project milestones in time, in full and according to budget
• Drive use and content creation of reusable solutions and processes to secure productivity
• Validate/ review technical solutions
• Develop and improve processes, templates and tools
• Enable competitive differentiation
• Act as a mentor I trainer for others within and outside Tetra Pak
• Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak
