As OCI’s development pipeline expands, actionable insights, strong data governance, and consistent reporting are essential to supporting informed decision-making at scale. The Central Programs and Business Operations function plays a critical role in improving operational efficiency, driving cross-functional visibility, and enabling leadership to make data-backed investments and risk-aware decisions. We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical individual with strong communication skills to help the organization meet its strategic and financial objectives. Responsibilities include margin-based deal modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in business operations and finance, with a passion for data and a strong ability to translate complex information into actionable insights. Responsibilities A Senior Principal Business Operations Analyst operates at a highly strategic level, bridging the gap between engineering execution and corporate financial objectives. This role requires a blend of deep analytical expertise, executive presence, and a thorough understanding of cloud unit economics.

Requirements

  • Advanced Educational Foundation: MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, or Engineering) from a reputable institution, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of business strategy and organizational leadership.
  • Hyperscale Cloud Expertise: 10+ years of progressive experience in business operations, finance, or strategy within a hyperscale cloud environment, with a proven track record of managing expansive infrastructure portfolios.
  • AI & Technical Financial Modeling: Mastery in architecting complex financial models for GPU-intensive AI clusters, including deep knowledge of hardware depreciation cycles, power density costs, and the unit economics of large-language model (LLM) training environments.
  • Strategic Commercial Structuring: Extensive experience partnering with executive leadership to structure and approve high-value, bespoke commercial agreements for Fortune 500 clients, balancing aggressive revenue growth with margin protection.
  • Executive-Level Influence: Demonstrated ability to distill massive datasets into high-impact narratives for C-suite and Executive level stakeholders, driving consensus across fragmented engineering, supply chain, and sales organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Deal Structuring: Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal and Engineering teams to structure complex, multi-year deals, ensuring that bespoke commercial terms for enterprise customers remain within OCI’s margin and capacity guardrails.
  • AI Infrastructure Economics: Develop comprehensive cost and ROI models for strategic AI/ML GPU clusters, accounting for specialized hardware lifecycles, high-density power requirements, and networking costs.
  • CAPEX Management: Partner with Finance to lead the strategic planning cycle for global infrastructure investment, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and multi-billion dollar capital expenditure budgets.
  • Long-Range Planning (LRP): Develop multi-year financial models that project growth, scaling requirements, and the impact of new product launches (e.g., AI/ML clusters or sovereign cloud regions).
  • Advanced Modeling: Build and maintain complex SQL/Python-based models to simulate "what-if" scenarios regarding market expansion, pricing shifts, or hardware generational transitions.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Design executive-level telemetry and BI dashboards (using OCI Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI) that track North Star metrics for the leadership team.
  • Executive Influence: Synthesize complex operational data into concise briefings for SVPs and EVPs, providing actionable recommendations that influence departmental strategy.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
