MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer's mission. You will play a crucial role in delivering advanced solutions and strategic insight to optimize the customers enterprise environment. Proven expertise in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating application delivery and/or load balancing systems. Evaluate and recommend network optimization and application acceleration techniques. Extensive experience with application delivery and/or load balancing systems across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments. Use advanced tools and analytics to diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery. Proficient in using automation and orchestration for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of application delivery and/or load balancing systems. The Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer must have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education. Minimum of 10 years of experience in application delivery and network engineering. Extensive knowledge of ADN technologies. Strong understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix NetScaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred. The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
