About The Position

Supports the Vanguard Workplace Solutions business by leading strategy projects and workstreams that include conducting business strategic analysis, competitive research, and product/service evaluation for the institutional business. This role will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new revenue management function. The Senior Pricing Strategist will: Establish a new revenue management function to provide transparency into sources of revenue decay and insights to drive corrective action Own and enhance pricing tools to drive efficiency and impact Influence strategic client pricing decisions by providing thoughtful, data-backed recommendations to client and consultant-facing teams and the Pricing Governance Committee consisting of several members of the Workplace Solutions executive leadership team We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about pricing strategy, data-driven decision-making and influencing outcomes across the organization Demonstrates a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and analytical rigor to effectively translate data into insights and recommendations Proactively navigates through ambiguous situations and proposes solutions Has a desire for continuous improvement and program management

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads process of planning and business problem diagnosis.
  • Independently defines business problems, issues, by consulting with business partners.
  • Develops and oversees approach for research and analyses.
  • Coaches less experienced business strategy analysts in best practices and building business acumen.
  • Synthesizes analyses, key findings, and potential solutions into actionable recommendations.
  • Prepares and delivers materials, including presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in order to derive key insights from highly complex data.
  • Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data.
  • Organizes and delivers data with actionable insight to the business.
  • Stays abreast of industry, market, and business competitive trends.
  • Leads efforts to keep the senior management team informed of key industry, competitive, and product trends.
  • Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
