Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Moline Function: Communications (CA) Title: Senior PR Manager, Labor Relations - 117601 Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position Your Responsibilities As a Senior PR Manager, Labor Relations for Deere & Co World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will: Align labor communication and PR goals by executing a robust earned, owned, paid and strategic PR strategy to strengthen brand favorability with key audiences — while also protecting the company’s brand and reputation before during and after union negotiations or any workforce related issues VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of employee/union dynamics, gained through 10+ years in PR/Human Resources/Labor Relations, focusing on contract negotiation support and managing reputational risks related to workforce issues
  • Experience in crisis communication, media relations (especially handling sensitive topics) and strategic messaging
  • Experience working closely as a trusted expert with senior leaders to identify needs, define strategy, develop action plans, identify deliverables, present results and measure outcomes
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Human Resources, Business or related field.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Master's Degree or MBA
