We specialize in manufacturing steel joists, joist girders, deck, and grating products for the non-residential construction industry, delivering innovative engineering solutions. We are seeking a qualified and energetic Power BI Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engaging reports and dashboards, help prioritize and manage team tasks, and champion the use of BI tools across the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing Power BI reports.
  • At least 2 years in a senior or leadership role within a Scrum team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within Microsoft DevOps and the principles of Scrum.
  • Experience refining, prioritizing, and managing a Scrum backlog.
  • Experience collecting requirements from business users and breaking those requirements down into manageable and trackable tasks.
  • Experience conducting training sessions with individuals or groups.
  • Familiarity with data management tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
  • Self-motivated person who enjoys learning new technologies and staying current with Business Intelligence (BI) methodologies.
  • Help to refine and prioritize the BI team’s backlog.
  • Work with teammates and business users at the Vulcraft divisions to determine requirements and priorities.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate on data modeling, analysis, and visualization projects.
  • Champion the use of the BI reports and dashboards within the organization.
  • Schedule, implement, and communicate improvements, change requests, and support items.
  • Promote effective release and testing procedures for BI deployments.
  • Assist with user training for BI reports and dashboard releases.
  • Coordinate technical changes for creating and modifying reports and dashboards
  • Ensure data integrity across Vulcraft divisions.
